Saif Ali Khan is all set to present his second release of this year - Chef. Yes, as the title of the film suggests, Saif plays a divorced chef Roshan Kalra, who takes his son on a food journey in order to connect with him after quitting his at a popular Los Angeles restaurant. It is a remake of 2014 Hollywood film of the same name. Of his role, Saif said, "Cooking is like magic, with a little bit of this and a little bit of that. With all completely different ingredients, you prepare one mouth-watering dish." Chef has reportedly been cleared with one (cuss word) cut and a 'U/A' certification by the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC).

Chef is directed by Raja Krishna Menon and also features Dhanish Karthik, Dinesh Prabhakar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Sachin Kamble, Shayan Munshi and Russell Peters in pivotal roles.

Of Saif's appearance in the film, Mr Menon earlier told news agency PTI, "While styling Roshan Kalra (Saif), I wanted a very casual creative every day look so naturally, we veered towards shorts with T-shirts or shirts, jeans -- clothes that you would see a young father wear nowadays... It's simple but that's what I love about it."

Meanwhile, Malayalam film Solo, starring Dulquer Salmaan also hits the screens today. It is a bilingual film which narrates four different stories. Solo is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and also stars Arthi Venkatesh, Dhansikaa, Dino Morea, Neha Sharma and Sruthi Hariharan.

The Lego Ninjago Movie, Blade Runner 2049 and The Mountain Between Us are this week's Hollywood releases.
