This Happened: Ali Fazal Met 'Real OG' Tom Cruise At The Oscars Nominees Luncheon

Ali Fazal, a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, attended the Academy Nominees Luncheon in Los Angeles on Monday and he surely had his big fan boy moment. The actor met Tom Cruise at the luncheon and treated his Instafam to some of the moments. Ali posted a picture with "real OG" Tom Cruise and he wrote: "Surreal moments from the Academy Luncheon today! With the real OG Tom Cruise, who was the kindest soul in a room filled with talent today. Left me with advice I will cherish a lifetime."

The actor also posted pictures with Guneet Monga, producer of The Elephant Whisperers, which is nominated for Best Documentary Short. Ali Fazal added in his caption: "2nd picture is our proudest moment - the two from India with him - The Champions of the day/yr - All That Breathes and The Elephant Whisperers" Ali Fazal also posted pictures with Shaunak Sen, whose All That Breathes has been nominated for Best Documentary Feature Film. Ali Fazal wrote: "Shaunak Sen and Guneet Monga killing it."

The third picture shared by Ali Fazal features Shaunak Sen with Tom Cruise. "3rd pic is Shaunak in serious discussion with Mr Cruise. More Later," wrote the actor.

Meanwhile, Guneet Monga posted pictures with the Academy President Janet Yang, filmmaker Steven Spielberg. She also posted pictures with Tom Cruise, Brendan Fraser, Ali Fazal, Shaunak Sen, Ke Huy Quan. She also shared pictures with composer M M Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose, whose track Naatu Naatu from RRR has been nominated for Best Original Song. She captioned the post: "In top company with the mavericks of cinema, everything everywhere all at once. The Academy Nominee Luncheon, LA."

The 95th Oscars will be held on March 12 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
