Even if you have watched the behind-the-scenes stories of Tum Kya Mile from Karan Johar's upcoming romantic drama Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani before, Alia Bhatt's vlog of the song has more in store. It's the actor's maiden song vlog. The song was shot in different parts of Kashmir, in the backdrop of snow-capped mountains and in a freezing temperature of -3 degree Celsius. Alia Bhatt's vlog begins with the shot where the actor is seen sitting relaxed inside a car. Cut to the next shot. It features the filmmaker Karan Johar, sitting beside Alia and telling her, "All your bachpan ka sapna coming true. (All your childhood dreams are coming true)." Alia nods to Karan Johar's words and makes a victory sign with her hands.
The vlog also has appearances from Alia's sister Shaheen Bhatt, ace make-up artist Mickey Contractor, and, of course, the cast and crew of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The first part of the vlog shows the makeup process of Rani aka Alia Bhatt. Mickey Contractor is heard saying in the vlog, "I am speechless and panicking." While Mickey is applying make-up on Alia's face, Alia explains, "He is panicking because we are trying something new. It's a no make-up look for a full-on romantic song."
Alia has already revealed on her Instagram that she shot the song after four months after daughter Raha's birth. In the vlog Alia also shared glimpses of her workout regime before the shoot of the song. She revealed that she started her workout regime six weeks after post-partum. Alia, with her fitness instructor beside her, says in the vlog, "Two weeks to go to shoot the song. We have started slow but we will make it up."
The last part of the vlog deals with Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt's choice of sarees. In one of the shots Karan Johar is heard saying, "Three decades of chiffon sarees." Among many sarees Alia wears in the song Tum Kya Mile, Karan's favourites are the green-and-pink (Karan calls it "cassata" saree, Manish Malhotra calls it "Kulfi" saree for its colour palette and Karan approves of Manish's term) and the blue saree. Alia chooses the "Kulfi" saree and the black one. Alia also admits that Ranveer Singh's puffer jacket causes troubles in between the shot. Karan, in his signature style, admits that he is sorry for making Alia wear a chiffon saree while Ranveer wears a puffer jacket. However, beauty lies in Karan's eyes in this combination only- a puffer jacket and a chiffon saree.

Previously, Alia posted a BTS video on her Instagram revealing the unknown details from the shoot of the song Tum Kya Mile. Talking about how she shot the song four months after having a baby, she said, "It is my first love song in snow, wearing a chiffon saree. I have seen the final result and I feel so happy that it is something I can proudly say that I did four months after having a baby. So I really prepped myself up to this. I really wanted it to be outstanding."
