Shilpa Shetty Kundra is a Ganesh devotee. The Shetty's have been bringing Ganpati Bappa home ever Ganesh Chaturthi for years and the married actress plans to continue the tradition at her new home.

She is in a rush to complete the interiors of her new bungalow in Juhu before September 11, when the eleven-day Ganesh uja commences.

Ever since SS and her husband Raj Kundra returned from their European holiday, she has been pushing her interior decorator, Sussanne (Hrithik) Roshan to ready her two-storeyed bungalow in time for the festival. Shilpa is excited as this is the first time she's bringing in the idol to her married home.

The spiritual actress wants to make an auspicious start with her new home and will move in to the place the same day.

On their many travels, Raj and Shilpa picked up interesting artifacts and curios from all over the world to decorate their new home

Another reason for her haste in completing work on their new home is that Raj's family is in Mumbai. Says a source, "His sister and mother are here from London. "The actress is thrilled that the Ganpati festival will mean a huge family get-together for her and her husband's family after months and so she's making sure that everything is in place by then."
