Rashmika Mandanna continues to dominate headlines. She's set to return as a presenter at the 10th Global Anime Awards, following her 2024 debut.
She made history as the first Indian presenter at the prestigious global ceremony in 2024.
This year's event is going to take place on May 23 in Tokyo, Japan.
The Anime Awards celebrate excellence across anime categories, uniting creators, performers, and global icons who cherish the medium.
Announcing it on her Instagram Story, Rashmika wrote: "Back to Japan. To celebrate the incredible people behind anime." She added a heart emoji.
Revisiting Rashmika At Anime Awards In 2024
Back in 2024, Rashmika wore a blingy outfit for the big night. She kept her hair short and let her style speak volumes.
Sharing a personal note for presenting India on the global stage, Rashmika wrote, "Japan was a place I've dreamt of going to for years.. since childhood. never thought it would ever be possible.. let alone be a part of an award show giving an award to one of the creators of and in the anime world!! and finally it came true..!!
"Being able to meet everyone here, receiving the incredible love here, receiving such a warm welcome.. the food, the weather, the place so clean, such lovely people.. It's amazing! Thank you Japan! Really! I love you! Truly! You are just toooo special.. I am going to keep coming back every year now."
Rashmika Mandanna Married Vijay Deverakonda In February
The couple had a Telugu wedding in the morning, honouring Vijay's cultural roots, followed by a Kodava wedding in the evening, celebrating Rashmika's heritage, on 26 February.
Initially tight-lipped about wedding rumours, they had been sharing exclusive glimpses of their pre-wedding festivities with fans since 23 February.
Guests included Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi director and actor Tharun Bhascker, The Girlfriend director and actor Rahul Ravindran, actors Eesha Rebba and Ashika Ranganath, stylist Shravya Varma, Arjun Reddy and Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and Lokah star Kalyani Priyadarshan.
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda first met on the sets of the 2018 film Geetha Govindam. They later collaborated for Dear Comrade (2019). The classic love story Geetha Govindam became a massive blockbuster, minting ₹132 crore at the box office.
