Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor May Not be Such Good Friends After All

• Their laugh-a-minute Koffee With Karan appearance may have led you to believe that Gunday co-stars Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are the best of friends but the truth, it seems, may be far from it.
• We hear that the actors don’t talk anymore or even want to see each other. A TV commercial that was to be filmed later this month has reportedly been postponed because Ranveer and Arjun refused to shoot together.
• According to a source, “Arjun was to fly down to Turkey and Ranveer, who is on a cruise in Europe for Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do, was to join him there. But the two actors didn't want to shoot together because the differences between them have multiplied since their last release. So, now only Ranveer's portions will be canned in Turkey while Arjun will film his in Mumbai.”
• Ranveer’s rumoured ex-girlfriend and Band Baajaa Baarat co-star Anushka Sharma is whispered to be the cause of this disruption in what promised to be a great Bollywood bromance. Arjun and Anushka were spotted hanging out some time ago, and that apparently didn’t go down well with Ranveer.
• The gents in question have rubbished reports of a rift. Arjun Kapoor said last year, “One day people said Ranveer Singh and I had a fight and the next day our pictures having tea together were published. Our lives are scrutinised to no end. There was never a fight and it will never happen. People just make up stories and say he came for my party and fought with me.” This denial has failed to squash gossip, as denials in Bollywood often do. While there’s been no recent comment from either actor, Yash Raj Films – who produced both Ranveer and Arjun’s debut films - dismissed rumours of a rivalry, saying, “We are in an advanced stage of discussion with a brand for Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. However, nothing has been signed officially yet. The creatives of the ads are still being worked out by the brand and the communication strategy may not lend itself to having them shoot together. Additionally, the logistics of Ranveer shooting in Europe for Zoya's Dil Dhadakne Do and Arjun in Wai for Tevar does not make it conducive for a combined shoot at this stage which are the only reasons why they can't shoot together.”
