After sharing screen space in Dibakar Banerjee's 2010 film Love Sex Aur Dhokha, Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha are all set to co-star in Hansal Mehta's next film titled Turram Khan. Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat announced their association with the film by sharing the news on social media on Monday. Turram Khan director announced the cast of the film on Twitter and wrote: "So finally a comedy! Makes me feel like I am debuting all over again. Can't wait to begin shooting for this one!" In his tweet, Hansal Mehta also mentioned that Turram Khan will be collaboratively produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg.

Meanwhile, film's producer Ajay Devgn also shared the post on Twitter and wrote: "All the best team Turram Khan."
Turram Khan is Rajkummar Rao's fifth collaborative project with Hansal Mehta. The duo have earlier worked together in films such as Shahid, City Lights, Aligarh and Omerta. In his tweet, Rajkummar Rao mentioned that he is "excited" to be a part of the film and wrote: "Excited to collaborate with my dearest Hansal Mehta sir once again to bring yet another interesting story Turram Khan, with the lovely Nushrat Bharucha as my co-star. Looking forward to this fun association."
Turram Khan is a comedy film set against the backdrop of a small town in Uttar Pradesh. The film is slated to go on floors in November this year.
