New Delhi:
Actress Priyanka Chopra never fails to please her fans and always keeps them updated about her whereabouts. From speaking at the Global Goals Awards and walking the red carpet of Emmys 2017 to educating and helping the Syrian children in Jordan, our
desi girl has done it all. Recently, Priyanka hosted the Global Citizen Festival (an annual music festival whose creative director is Coldplay's lead vocalist Chris Martin) in New York City. The 35-year-old actress, who is also a Global Citizen Ambassador, posted a couple of pictures from the festival on Saturday in which she's all smiles and looks excited. The
Baywatch star opted for a red, white and black floral shift dress, which she paired with matching thigh-high boots. Actress Freida Pinto was also present at the festival, who sported a Global Citizen Festival tee. The 32-year-old
Slumdog Millionaire star also opted a floral jacket. Priyanka captioned the pictures: "I had the best time hosting Global Citizen! Proud to be a Global Citizen Ambassador."

Before hosting the Global Citizen, Priyanka, who is UNICEF's Goodwill Ambassador, met Malala Yousafzai at UN Global Goals Awards.
Of Malala, Priyanka wrote: "Malala, you are an undeniable force to be reckoned with. The world knows that. You are a role model to all the girls and boys that want to make this world a better place for the future."

The
Bajirao Mastani actress was also honoured to speak at the Global Goals Awards on the
importance of empowering girls. Priyanka addressed the global leaders and influencers from the United Nations and urged everyone to come together and work to empower, educate and create opportunities for young girls and children.
In the words of Mahatma Gandhi... "If we are to teach real peace in this world, and if we are to carry on a real war against war, we shall have to begin with the children." It was an honor to speak at the UN Global Goals Awards on the importance of empowering girls; addressing global leaders and influencers from the United Nations, philanthropy, media, non-profits and business. We all need to come together and work to empower, educate, create opportunities and impart skill sets so that we can be their catalysts for change and to help them build their brave new world. If possible, a safe one where they can live their dreams and laugh together as one. I had the opportunity to meet @muzoonalmellehan, @unicef's youngest goodwill ambassador, who is doing such amazing work advocating education for Syrian girls. All in all, this was a very inspiring and uplifting night. #GlobalGoals #UNGA #ForEveryChild Please swipe for more.
