National Film Awards: Suriya And Ajay Devgn Receive Their Best Actor Prizes

New Delhi:

The most prestigious film awards of the country, the 68th National Awards, were held at New Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan on Friday. Suriya and Ajay Devgn shared the Best Actor Awards for Soorarai Pottru and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, respectively. This is Ajay Devgn's third Best Actor win. He has previously won for the 1998 film Zakhm and The Legend Of Bhagat Singh. Aparna Balamurali won Best Actress for Soorarai Pottru. Soorarai Pottru also won Best Screenplay and Best Background Score and Best Feature Film.
