Unless you've been living under a rock, you must've heard the buzz about the Indian cinematic version of the adventures of Archie Andrews and his squad. Thanks to Zoya Akhtar who has come up with the making of the film. And, we all are excited to see Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda on the sets. Recently, photos from the shoot sets have leaked. And, from what we see, we can guess that Agastya Nanda plays the role of Archie Andrews in this Bollywood rendition of the famous Archie comics. While the star kid has mostly remained outside the periphery of the Bollywood spotlight, we are sure he'll soon be at the forefront of debutant artists. If you don't know much about him yet, worry not. Here are some facts to know about him:
1. Agastya Nanda is the grandson of Bollywood veteran stars Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. He is the son of Big B's daughter, Shweta Bachchan.
2. Agastya Nanda is also the younger brother of entrepreneur Navya Naveli Nanda. She often shares photos with Agastya on her Instagram page.
3. Agastya Nanda was born to Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda in November 2000. He went on to graduate from Seven Oaks School, London.
4.You may not know that Agastya Nanda, apart from being a part of the Bachchan family, is also related to the Kapoor family too. His father, Nikhil Nanda is the great-grandson of Raj Kapoor. Hence, Agastya is related to two of the biggest families of Bollywood, Bachchans and Kapoors.
5. So do you know how old is he? Just 21.
The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, was announced last year. It is co-produced by Zoya Akhtar, Sharad Devarajan and Reema Kagti.
