New Delhi:

Have you watched The Family Man series yet? If you have, then you would know how Manoj Bajpayee lives up to the title in the Amazon Prime show. For those who are yet to watch, here's some context - the "family" in The Family Man comprises Manoj Bajpayee as the father (a special agent named Srikant), south star Priyamani as his wife Suchitra and young actors Ashlesha Thakur and Vedant Sinha as their kids Dhriti and Atharv. The quartet's portrayal of the mechanisms of a dysfunctional family is what makes the action series all the more interesting. Now, in a recent tweet, actor Manoj Bajpayee revealed that one cast member is his personal favourite and it's none of other than Ashlesha Thakur, who plays his daughter in the show.

Re-sharing a tweet by the 17-year-old actress, Manoj Bajpayee wrote: "Most favourite actor on the set - Ashlesha Thakur."

In her tweet, Ashlesha Thakur shared a few behind-the-scene glimpses from one of the most gruesome scenes in the second season of the show. In her tweet, she wrote: "Bruises, sweat and tears matched with fits of laughter, high fives and lots of hugs. Our incredibly creative and generous cast, crew, outstanding fans-it's all been beyond anything I could have imagined. The love is real and will keep it growing."

The second season of The Family Man 2 premiered on Amazon Prime earlier this month and indeed matched up to hype created by the first one. In his review for NDTV, critic Saibal Chatterjee wrote: "The Family Man 2 is buoyed by an as-magnetic-as-ever central performance by Manoj Bajpayee and a sharp-as-a-needle star turn by Samantha Akkineni in the role of an unwavering Sri Lankan Tamil liberation fighter on a suicide mission."
