Jai Gangaajal is out and it is very, very impressive.
From the two-and-a-half minute sneak peek into the Prakash Jha-directed film, one can see that
Jai Gangaajal is packed with powerful punches and dialogues, both of which delivered by Priyanka Chopra with brilliance.
Enter Abha Mathur, the first woman SP of Bankepur and she is here for a purpose and will not be humoured by sycophants. On the other hand is the Bankepur vidhyak (played by Manav Kaul), who has been in the place for four years and makes it clear that he is there to stay.
Abha's fight to restore justice and peace in Bankepur and her fight with her nemesis forms the film's plot. Amid the goons and local politics, Priyanka also fights the gender discrimination deeply rooted in the system - her colleagues address her as "Madam Sir". (Also Read:
