Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Culture and Public Relations Minister Laxmikant Sharma said the state was honoured to invite Rahman for the Foundation Day function tomorrow to whom it had earlier bestowed the State Government's prestigious National Lata Mangeshkar award.
The State Foundation Day is being celebrated in Bhopal as well as district headquarters with the government earmarking Rs 5 crore budget for the purpose, the minister added.
