Priyanka Chopra has posted an emotional tribute to her late father, Ashok Chopra, on his birth anniversary. The actor, who shared an incredibly close bond with her father, took to Instagram to remember him on his 76th birth anniversary.
She shared a picture of her late father from earlier days, where he was seen smiling brightly. “Happy heavenly birthday, Papa,” Priyanka wrote.

The Varanasi actor has kept her father's memory alive through emotional tributes and throwback pictures. Priyanka has a tattoo on her wrist that reads, “Daddy's lil girl” in his handwriting. The tattoo holds a special place in her heart, and it also became a part of her wedding to Nick Jonas, when Priyanka had the same words embroidered on her veil.
Previously, during an interview when Priyanka was asked which phase of her life she would like to revisit, the actor said she would choose to spend time with her father again.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is all set to appear in SS Rajamouli's highly anticipated epic action-adventure Varanasi. Led by Mahesh Babu, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in another prominent role. The film is expected to hit the theatres on April 7, 2027.
Additionally, Priyanka will also be seen in Amri. The film depicts the life of Hungarian-Indian painter Amrita Sher-Gil. Alongside Priyanka, the film also stars Anjali Sivaraman, Emily Watson, Jaideep Ahlawat, Krisztián Csákvári, Anjana Vasan, and Jim Sarbh in prominent roles.
Priyanka is also set to appear in an American comedy film titled Judgement Day. The film will feature Will Ferrell, Zac Efron, Regina Hall, Michael Pena, Billy Eichner, Jimmy Tatro, Bobby Cannavale, Fortune Feimster, and Bill Camp in leading roles.
