Anything to do with superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan is bound to make headlines. So when Gauri shared a glimpse of their home – the famous Mannat – on Instagram, it's not surprising that it created a buzz on social media. Making our sleepy Sunday a whole lot better, Gauri has shared an image of a new space she created at home. And, we have to say right at the onset that the space is just as glamorous as the designer herself. Seated in front of a black and white wall, Gauri is seen dressed in a denim dress and high heels. The geotag says, "Mannat," which is a landmark in itself in Mumbai.
In the caption, Gauri Khan said, “The black and white colour scheme when applied effectively in interior design can result in an interesting design concept. Just got done with this new space I recently designed at home…Enjoying my Sunday! #gaurikhandesigns”
A few days ago, Gauri Khan sent the internet into a tizzy by sharing a throwback image featuring her alongside Namrata Shirodkar, Sangeeta Bijlani and Shah Rukh Khan himself. Sharing the image, Gauri said, “Post a fashion show with Namrata Shirodkar, Sangeeta Bijlani. I think I walked the Ramp with them too while Shah Rukh Khan watched from the audience.”
Namrata Shirodkar said, “Omg, G.. where did you even find this one. I was straight out of my Miss Universe show headed to this cruise with all of you. We had such a blast. Such sweet memories. Brings it all back.”
Sangeeta Bijlani replied saying, “Omggg, Gauri Khan, feeling completely nostalgic seeing this picture. What an awesome trip it was and we all had such a blast.”
Replying to the post, Deanne Panday said, “I remember this gown and choker G. I think we were all there at this show.” Anaita Shroff Adajania said: “Wow!” with heart emoji.
Director and choreographer Farah Khan Kunder wrote, “Best days.”
A few weeks ago, Gauri Khan had also shared an image from her time in Milan and said, “Milan, a place for Artists, brands and curators to come together .. innovation of technique and material through design Salone del mobile.”
Gauri Khan is an interior decorator and owns Gauri Khan Designs in Mumbai. In addition to decorating homes for several Bollywood A-listers, Gauri Khan has also designed restaurants like Arth and Sanchos. She has also authored a book titled My Life In Design.
