Sad news for Christopher Nolan fans. The Interstellar director is not a part of the 'Mood Indigo' cultural festival organised annually by the Indian Institute of Technology's Mumbai branch.
In their Facebook post on October 27, the organisers suggested that the Hollywood filmmaker is all set to entertain young Indian minds at one of Asia's largest cultural festivals.
However, apologising for the confusion regarding Christopher Nolan's presence in the festival the organisers today (November 1) posted on Facebook:
Soon, after the announcement made by Mood Indigo, Christopher Nolan started trending with #NolaninIndia, which alerted his PR agency.
The representatives of the director said that though he will be hounoured at the festival but will not be part of its 'Illuminati' programme as a speaker, as suggested by Mood Indigo's post, reported Hollywoodreporter.com.
The 44th edition of the festival starts on December 28. Last year's 'Illuminati' seminar featured Bollywood star Aamir Khan, LinkedIn CEO Nishant Rao, writer-journalist S Hussain Zaidi, and hockey player Mir Ranjan Negi.
