Mere Angne Mein star Charu Asopa recently shared a reel on her Instagram handle, looking beautiful in an orange saree. In the video, she can be seen walking gracefully, showing off her ethnic look. However, what grabbed everyone's attention was the sindoor on her forehead. Charu Asopa has initiated a divorce from her husband, Rajeev Sen (Sushmita Sen's younger brother). Together, they have a daughter named Ziana Sen. Soon after she shared the post, a user wrote, "Samajh nahi aaya ki yeh sindoor kyu lagaya hai jab rishta hi nahi rakhna hai, so sorry for Rajeev and Ziana. (I don't understand why she is wearing sindoor when she doesn't want to keep her marriage with Rajeev.), while another wrote, "Vaise rishta tut chuka h vaise maang bhar kr ghumti h drame h sb (her marriage is broken, but still she is wearing sindoor). However, one user lauded her move and wrote, "Wow wow wow she is wearing sindoor m so so happy". Check out the post below:
A few days ago, Charu Asopa treated her Insta family to adorable pictures of her daughter Ziana. In the images, Charu is posing with her 9-month-old daughter, who's looking beautiful in a red dress. Sharing the post, Charu wrote, "Happy 9months bday my love , life and laughter . Thank you for coming into my life and making it soooo beautiful. I love you my jaan." However, in this post also users criticised her for wearing sindoor. A user wrote, "Iska toh divorce ho gaya na? Toh yeh sindoor kyu lagayi. (Hasn't she divorced Rajeev? Then why she is wearing sindoor?)." Calling her "dramebaaz" a user wrote, "Why are you wearing sindoor". Check out the post below:
Meanwhile, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen got married in 2019 and welcomed their daughter last year in November. However, soon after reports of their separation started surfacing on the internet when they unfollowed each other on social media.
Early last month, Charu Asopa dropped a vlog on her Instagram handle in which she spoke about her decision of ending her marriage to Rajeev Sen. She said, "I know people have a lot of questions about me, have doubts about me. Many are thinking I am wrong but I want to say that I am taking this decision after thinking about it for a long time. Mein kisi jaldbaazi mein ya emotional hoke yeh decision nahi le rahi hun apne poore hosh o awaz mein yeh faisla le rahi hun (I am not taking the decision in a hurry or emotionally. I am taking it consciously). It is not for me, it is for Ziana."
In terms of work, Charu Asopa is best known for featuring in TV shows, such as Mere Angne Mein, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo and Diya Aur Baati Hum to name a few.
