"To be very honest, if I ever try acting, I would act in a South Indian film. That is where I am from and that is what I naturally feel," Raftaar, whose real name is Dilin Nair, told IANS over phone.
The 28-year-old musician, who has his roots in Kerala, feels he will "do good in a Malayalam movie".
"If something comes my way, I will definitely do it because I love representing where I am from. But I have not given anything back to Kerela yet," added the Tamanche Pe Disco crooner, who is known for Punjabi rap.
On the work front, Raftaar has crooned a number for the upcoming action film Dishoom titled Toh dishoom. The film features actors Varun Dhawan, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez.
