Ayushmann Khurrana is loved as much for his acting skills as he is for his flair for singing and music. Most of his films feature a song -- if not a cover -- by the artist himself, much to the delight of his fans. And, things are no different for his latest film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. The actor recently released a song, Maafi, and close on the heels of this song comes a post describing what music means to the star. Sharing two photos in which he is sitting in front of a microphone, Ayushmann Khurrana wrote, “I'm the happiest when I express through music. The mic has been a companion since my school days. Came out with a song after a year and a half. Can't express how I feel.”
He followed this up with lyrics from the song itself and added the hashtag “gratitude”. Replying to the post, Ayushmann Khurrana's brother and actor, Aparshakti Khurana dropped a heart emoji. Actress Amruta Khanvilkar replied to the post saying, “What a song...”

Recently, the actor was also seen singing another song from the film. After a session at the gym, Ayushmann Khurrana posted a video in which he is playing the guitar and singing the sing Kalle Kalle. In the video, the actor is seen bare-chested and smiling as he sings the song. In the caption, he wrote, “In love with Kalle Kalle. Sigh! Post gym strum,” adding, “Whatta rendition by Priya Saraiya. And what a beautiful sounding album by Sachin-Jigar.”
Reacting to the post, Abhishek Kapoor, who is the director of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui said, “Lajawaab (Wonderful).” Music director Jigar Saraiya said, “Bhai, kitna dil se gaate ho yaar aap (Brother, you sing from the heart).”

Also, who can forget this video of Ayushmann Khurrana playing the song, Dekha Ek Khwaab Toh from Silsila starring Amitabh Bachchan, on the veteran actor's birthday? In the caption, the Vicky Donor star and wrote, “A small tribute to the legend, with whom I got the honour to share the screen space last year. Happy birthday Amitabh Bachchan sir.”
Ayushmann Khurrana made his acting debut in the 2012 film Vicky Donor. He followed this up with films such as Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Badhaai Ho, among others. In addition to Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, he will be seen in Doctor G and Anek.
