The Hindi film industry is known for friendships that have lasted decades and withstood the rise and fall of careers. One such friendship is shared between veteran actors Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor. The two actors have appeared in numerous films together and have forged a strong friendship. We saw a glimpse of this bond in a new video shared by Anupam Kher on the Koo app. In the clip, Anupam Kher is talking about a pair of glasses that Anil Kapoor has gifted him. Anupam Kher says that he had once mentioned that the spectacles looked good, so Anil Kapoor as a good friend picked up a pair for him. And given how close they are Anil Kapoor did not think twice before telling Anupam Kher several times that it was a very expensive pair of glasses.
In the video, Anupam Kher shows off the glasses and says that he is nervous just by seeing the box that it came in. He mentions that the spectacles are expensive and adds that he “will not ask how much it costs.” Anil Kapoor says that he has not given such an expensive gift to anyone. He then makes Anupam Kher wear the glasses and clicks pictures of the actor. Anil Kapoor then jokes, “Itna mehenga chashma suit nahi karta aapko. Lagta hai kisi aur ka pehna hai (Such an expensive pair of glasses does not suit you. It appears like you are wearing someone else's glasses).”
Anupam Kher replies to this by saying, “Yeh mera ameer chashma hai aur yeh mera garreb chashma hai (This is my rich glasses and this is my poor glasses),” wearing one after the other.
In the caption, Anupam Kher wrote, “ Mere pyaare dost Sri Anil Kapoor ji mere liye London se ek designer chashma lekar aaye hai. Chashma kitana mahanga hai isaka zikr unhonne do teen baar kiya. Lekin mainne bura nahin maana. Kyonki unki is udaarata me ek achchhi dostee ka achchha udaaharan hai. Prabhu aisa dost sabako de! Dhanyavaad Anil ji (My dear friend Anil Kapoor ji has brought me a pair of designer glasses from London. He mentioned how expensive the glasses are two or three times. But I didn't mind. Because in this generosity of his is a good example of a good friendship. May God give such a friend to everyone! Thanks, Anil ji)."
