Abhishek Bachchan recently surprised his father Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati ahead of his 80th birthday. The surprise also included Jaya Bachchan. Today, on Big B's birthday, the special episode is scheduled to air. Sharing a video of all the efforts that went behind planning a surprise for his father on Instagram, Abhishek Bachchan wrote, "It took a lot of secrecy, a lot of planning, a lot of hard-work and a lot of rehearsals to get it right. But then again, he deserves no less! It was very emotional to be able to surprise dad and celebrate his 80th Birthday at the place he loves the most, his workplace. My gratitude to the entire team of Sony and Kaun Banega Crorepati for helping me do this and making tonight's episode so special for my father. Do try and see it if possible. KBC on 11th October at 9 pm IST only on Sony TV. "
In the video, Abhishek Bachchan can be seen planning and rehearsing with people present on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati. A few frames later, Abhishek can be seen sharing a hug with his father. Jaya Bachchan too joins the father-son duo. Later, Big B is seen getting emotional, cutting cake and greeting his fans along with Abhishek Bachchan.
Abhishek's post caught the attention of his sister Shweta Bachchan, whose comment read, "Just the promo is making me emotional. Love you all."
Navya Nanda, Vicky Kaushal, Genelia D'Souza, Riteish Deshmukh, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Hrithik Roshan's ex-wife Sussane Khan too commented on the actor's post.
Navya Naveli Nanda dropped a heart on her uncle's post. Vicky Kaushal's comment read, "Bro" with a red heart. Genelia D'Souza commented, "Omg Goosebumps," Riteish wrote, "Can't wait." Sussane Khan's comment read, "Happy birthday to Amit uncle loads of love to u all."

This is not the first time Abhishek Bachchan has surprised his father by visiting his sets.
Recently, Abhishek shared a now-and-then picture with Amitabh Bachchan and wrote, "Some things never change! Well, I guess apart from height and facial hair. Surprise visits to his set will always be one of my most favourite things to do."
