Alia Bhatt has dismissed as "random" rumours that she is upset with Team RRR, explaining in an Instagram Story that she routinely reworks her video posts. Rumours have suggested that Alia deleted posts related to RRR from her Instagram because she's upset about her brief screen time in the SS Rajamouli-directed film. RRR, which released recently and has done phenomenally at the box office, pivots around the two male leads, played by Jr NTR and Ram Charan. Look beyond Instagram grids, Alia Bhatt urged in her post dismissing the rumours.

In her Instagram Story, Alia Bhatt wrote, "In today's randomness I've heard that I apparently deleted my RRR posts because I'm upset with the team. I sincerely request everyone to not make assumptions based on something as random as an Instagram grid. I ALWAYS realign old video posts from my profile grid because I prefer it look less cluttered."

Alia, cast as Sita who is the love interest of Ram Charan's character, also said she was grateful for the experience and that she was making the effort to deny the rumours so "misinformation" wouldn't sully the effort that Rajamouli and Team RRR had made.

"I am eternally grateful that I got to be a part of the world of RRR. I loved playing Sita. I loved being directed by Rajamouli Sir, I loved working with Tarak (Jr NTR) and (Ram) Charan - I loved every single thing about my experience on this film. The only reason I'm bothering to clarify this is because Rajamouli Sir and the team have put in years of effort and energy to bring this beautiful film to life and I refuse to let any misinformation around the film and experience slide," Alia Bhatt wrote.

With SS Rajamouli's RRR, Alia Bhatt debuted in the South Indian film industry. In the film, she played the role of Sita, Ram Charan's fiancee.

RRR's story revolves around two Indian revolutionaries, Komaram Bheem (played by Jr NTR) and Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan), who fought against the British Raj and the Nizam of Hyderabad, respectively.

The film was released on March 25, and in just one week, RRR has become the highest grosser post-pandemic film, earning over Rs 600 crores.
