Da 5 Bloods on Netflix is an American film that traces the journey of four aging Vietnam War veterans who return to the country. They band together to look for the remains of their squad leader, in addition to looking for treasure they buried in Vietnam decades ago.

3.Uri: The Surgical Strike 

If you haven't seen this film, you are missing out on some serious adrenaline rush. The movie that made Vicky Kaushal the star he is today, Uri is based on the 2016 attack. With great reviews, this movie has already priced that it is worth your time. Watch it on Amazon Prime Video.

4.Lakshya 

Lakshya, on Amazon Prime Video, is a war movie to some and a coming-of-age drama to many. But its no-holds-barred depiction of life in the Indian Army and Kargil War makes it a classic one must watch. Also, don't miss the stellar performances by Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan and Preity Zinta.

5.Saving Private Ryan

This 1998 classic is based on the Invasion of Normandy in World War II. With some stunning visuals which will force you to avert your gaze, the movie is a startling reminder of the truth of remnants of war. With actors like Tom Hanks, Edward Burns, Matt Damon, and Tom Sizemore it is considered as one of the greatest war films of all time. Watch it on Netflix.

6.Dunkrik 

Dunkrik, which is written, directed, and produced by Christopher Nolan is based on the Dunkirk evacuation of World War II. With a stunning ensemble cast, the film is a must-have, especially since many consider it to be Nolan's best work. It is streaming on Netflix.

Kesari, on Amazon Prime Video, is a story of extraordinary greatness from ordinary men. It is based on the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi, which was fought between 21 soldiers of the 36th Sikhs of the British Indian Army and 10,000 Afridi and Orakzai Pashtun tribesmen.

8.Black Hawk Down 

Academy Award-winning Black Hawk Down is based on the U.S. military's 1993 raid in Mogadishu. It is based on the 1999 non-fiction book of the same name by journalist Mark Bowden, and a must-watch for lovers of the genre. You can watch it on Netflix.

9.Enemy At The Gates

Enemy At The Gates, which is streaming on Netflix, is based on The Battle for Stalingrad. The high-action film is an engrossing ride to the days of the past.

10.Fury 

Fury on Amazon Prime Video is a Brad Pitt film you do not want to miss. It is a fictional depiction of the U.S. tank crews fighting in Germany during World War II. Made with several authentic uniforms and weapons, the attention to detail is worth the watch.
