IIT JAM 2019: Application For PG Admission In IITs Begins; Last Date April 25

The JAM 2019 scores can be also used for admissions into NITs and IISER.


New Delhi: 

Submission of application form for admission based on the JAM 2019 score card has started on the official website. Joint Entrance Test or JAM 2019 was organized by IIT Kharagpur, this year on February 10, 2019 and the official score card were released on April 2. The JAM score cards can be downloaded from the JOAPS website till July 31, 2019. The JAM 2019 application form can be submitted through the website till April 25, 2019. The last date for  receipt of request for change of category with proper documents is April 29, 2019.

JAM 2019 is conducted for candidates who want to pursue M.Sc. (Two Years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, and other Post Bachelor's Degree Programmes at various IITs in the country.

There is an Integrated Ph.D. Programme at the Indian Institute of Science or IISc to which admissions shall be made on the basis of JAM 2019.

The JAM 2019 scores can be also used for admissions into NITs and IISER.

The first, second and third admission list will be available on the official website of JAM 2019 from June 4, June 18, and June 28, 2019 respectively.

The last date of payment of seat booking fee through online process for first, second and third admission List is June 4, June 24, and July 2, 2019 respectively.

The last date for admissions through JAM 2019 will be on July 4, 2019.

The candidates need to have mandatory documents like Class 10 and Class 12 certificates, qualifying date sheets, birth certificate and other documents for the admission process.
