A 22-year-old woman was strangled to death allegedly by her in-laws in Chandwas village of the district, police said on Thursday.
Rashmina was killed by her husband Farooq and in-laws on Wednesday, as she was unable to pay the dowry amount they were asking for, according to a complaint filed by the father of the deceased.
A case against the in-laws of Rashmina has been registered, however, no arrest has been made so far, police said.
The body has been sent for post mortem.
