TV actor Raja Choudhary booked for causing ruckus
Mumbai: Television actor Raja Choudhary was booked for non-cognisable offence after he barged into the house of his estranged wife's mother in suburban Malad in Mumbai and caused ruckus, police said on Sunday.

While his wife Shweta was away, locked in a house for reality show 'Bigg Boss', Choudhary went to the apartment, broke open the door and abused her mother Nirmala Tiwari on Saturday. He went there on the pretext of meeting his daughter Palak.

Shweta's friend Abhinav Kohli rushed to the spot after receiving a call from her mother and accompanied her to the police station to lodge a complaint, police said.

On reaching police station, Kohli was slapped by furious Choudhary in front of the policemen.

"We have registered a non-cognisable offence against Choudhary for abusing Tiwari and Kohli and slapping the latter. His blood samples were sent for medical examination to check if he was drunk," said RD Prabhu, in charge of Malad Police Station.

Chaudhary married Shweta Tiwari in 1998 and they were together till 2007. They are living separately since and have filed for divorce in a court. The house at Malad is owned by Choudhary but he is barred from entering the house by the court.

Choudhary has also accused Tiwari and Kohli of thrashing and injuring him, police added.
