Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu:
A few days old baby boy was found abandoned in a bag on the roadside in Rajapalayam town, Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu today, police said.
Police rescued the baby and admitted him to the government hospital. Hospital authorities said the infant was healthy and would be handed over for care under state government's cradle baby scheme.
