About 50 to 60 people evacuated from the Carlton Towers fire in Bangalore have been taken to Manipal Hospital.
"Some of the persons are seriously ill. We are evaluating the patients' health," said Nagendra Swamy, COO, Manipal Hospital.
He said most of the people brought in suffered asphyxiation.
