3-yr-old rescued from borewell, dies in hospital

Gurdaspur:

A three-year-old girl who was rescued from a borewell in Gurdaspur in Punjab, almost 20 hours after she fell into it, has died at a hospital.

Dilnaaz was taken to Batala hospital in critical condition after she was pulled out of the 180-ft borewell. She was stuck at about 40 feet since Wednesday.

Bothe the Army and local administration carried out the rescue operation.
