The flying parantha and cricket woes

The flying parantha and cricket woes
Chennai: Anyone that watched the star-studded Mumbai Indians play and lose to Australian side Red Backs on Tuesday, must watch this video.

It shows two men making paranthas at a roadside stall in Tamil Nadu.

Ah, you shall ask, what is the connection between Nita Ambani's team looking foolish in South Africa and two men feeding the hungry in South India?

And then you shall say but of course, the embarrassment of rooting for a side that dropped catch after simple catch, fielded sloppy and did everything it could to ensure that a score of 181 in a Twenty20 match looked simple to get, has taken its toll.

Don't take my word, just watch these two men do their stuff.

They could teach these cricketers a trick or two in throwing, catching and team work. One flattens dough and tosses it several feet away.

The other catches with consummate ease. The throw never goes awry, the catch is never too much drama.

India's truly got talent. By the way, did you anyone spot the two men (customers?) wait and duck and finally learn to dash through between two episodes of dough throwing? The paratha maker never lost his rhythm.

This video was spotted by our reader Rayman Preet, who forwarded it to us. Thanks Rayman, this Vailangani hotspot should soon be on the Tamil Nadu tourism map courtesy the skill and dexterity of the two men there.

We are crawling the Web for more great videos, tweets pictures, blogs and people that just must be showcased. If you spot some that make you stop and stare, send them in here. We'll be happy to credit it to your spidery efforts on the WWW.

Have a great day.
