Vida, the electric vehicle manufacturing arm of Hero MotoCorp, has launched the Dirt.E K3 electric motorcycle made for kids in the Indian market. The bike comes at an introductory price of Rs 69,990 (ex-showroom) for the first 300 consumers. It is aimed at kids between 4 to 10 years of age who want to step into the world of dirt biking. It also marks the beginning of the brand's family of dirt bikes. It made its debut at the EICMA 2025.
The Dirt.E K3 features an adjustable chassis that allows for customization of the wheelbase, handlebar height, and ride height. With its three-stage configuration: Small, Medium, and Height, this bike can grow with your child, making it suitable for various learning stages. The Small setting has a seat height of 454 mm, the Medium setting is 544 mm, and the Large configuration reaches up to 631 mm. With all of this, the e-bike weighs only 22 kg.

In terms of safety, the Dirt.E K3 includes several important features: removable footpegs for walking the bike, a chest pad on the handlebar to cushion impacts in case of a crash, a magnetic kill switch, and a rear motor cover. By default, the e-bike is equipped with a rear brake only, but optional accessories such as a front brake, larger wheels, rear suspension, larger front suspension, and road-spec tires are available for purchase.
The bike is powered by a 500W motor and a 360Wh removable lithium-ion battery. It offers three riding modes. Low, Mid, and High, each with speed limits designed to help beginners progressively gain confidence. Given its performance and battery capacity, the Dirt.E K3 is tailor-made for short training sessions or introductory off-road experiences.

A connected smartphone app allows parents to set speed limits, adjust acceleration response, and track ride statistics. This model has also received international design accolades, including a Red Dot Award, highlighting its focus on ergonomics and modular design.
