TVS entered the adventure tourer segment in October with the launch of the Apache RTX 300, priced at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Built on the company's new platform, the motorcycle takes on rivals such as the KTM 250 Adventure, Yezdi Adventure, and Royal Enfield Scram 440. Positioned as a versatile offering for touring enthusiasts, the Apache RTX 300 blends fresh design with competitive performance. Roughly a month after its debut, TVS has officially commenced customer deliveries across India.

The TVS Apache RTX 300 adventure tourer has a newly developed 299cc, liquid-oil cooled, single-cylinder RT-XD4 engine that is capable of churning out a peak power and torque output of 35.5 hp at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The power mill is connected to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter. It also gets an assist & slipper clutch for smooth transmission.

TVS has begun deliveries of the Apache RTX 300, starting in Bengaluru, with other regions set to follow soon under a phased rollout strategy. As the brand's first adventure motorcycle, the RTX 300 has already captured the interest of enthusiasts eager for a capable tourer. According to the report, bookings remain open nationwide for a token amount of Rs 5,000, marking a significant step in TVS's expansion into the growing ADV segment.

The TVS Apache RTX 300 is built on a steel trellis frame paired with an aluminum die-cast swingarm, giving it a solid foundation. Its design exudes bulk and strength, highlighted by a muscular fuel tank, pronounced side fenders, and a clear windscreen. At the front, the bike sports an aggressive stance with eye-shaped LED headlamps, sleek LED indicators, and a beak-like projection. Practicality is ensured with split rear seats and a dedicated luggage rack, making TVS's first adventure tourer pillion-friendly and versatile.

In terms of features, the RTX 300 gets a full-color TFT display that provides details related to speed, call & SMS alert, segment-first map mirroring, GoPro control, and more. It has four different ride modes, namely, tour, rally, urban, and rain modes. In terms of safety, it gets features like ABS modes (rally, urban, and rain), traction control (two modes), cruise control, and TPMS.

Available in five colour options- Viper Green, Tarn Bronze, Metallic Blue, Lightning Black, and Pearl White, the TVS Apache RTX 300 is available at a price tag of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 2.34 lakh (ex-showroom).
