Triumph Motorcycles India recently launched its fifth motorcycle based on the 400 cc platform, i.e., its first affordable cafe racer, the Thruxton 400. Along with it, the brand has increased the prices of the Scrambler 400 X. The off-road capable machine now comes at a starting price of Rs 2,67,731, which is an increase of Rs 1,731 compared to the previous price. Along with it, the Speed 4000 has also seen a hike in its price, bringing the new price to Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
The price hike comes without any changes to the motorcycle. It continues to have the same colours that it received with the 2025 update. The other options include Matt Khaki Green with Fusion White, Volcano Red with Phantom Black, Pearl Metallic White with Phantom Black, and Phantom Black with Silver Ice.

The Triumph Scrambler 400 X is powered by a 398 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This powerplant is designed to deliver 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox that incorporates a slip and assist clutch for smooth gear changes.
For suspension, it features a 43mm upside-down fork at the front with 150mm of travel, along with a preload-adjustable mono-shock setup at the rear, which ensures a comfortable ride both on and off the road.
The Scrambler 400 X is equipped with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, clad in dual-purpose tires for exceptional traction across various terrains. Braking power comes from a 300 mm front disc brake and a 230 mm rear disc brake, both backed by a dual-channel ABS system. To enhance off-road capability, the rear ABS can be turned off to improve traction on loose surfaces.
