Tata Motors has revealed the updated version of its premium hatchback, the Tata Altroz, just ahead of its official launch on May 22, 2025. This is the first significant update to the Altroz since its original introduction in January 2020. The Altroz facelift brings in advanced features that distinguish it from the Maruti Suzuki Baleno in the competitive premium hatchback market.

Flush-Type Door Handles: The Altroz facelift features flush door handles, giving it a more premium look. In contrast, the Baleno continues to use standard protruding handles.

Voice-Operated Sunroof: The Altroz now includes a voice-activated sunroof, providing added luxury and convenience. On the other hand, the Baleno does not offer a sunroof at all.

10.25-Inch Fully Digital Instrument Cluster: The Altroz facelift is equipped with a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, offering a sleek and informative display. In comparison, the Baleno features a 9.0-inch multi-information display (MID).

10.25-Inch Floating Infotainment Screen: The Altroz comes with a 10.25-inch floating infotainment screen, enhancing the dashboard's design and usability. Meanwhile, the Baleno is provided with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Dual-Cylinder CNG Technology: The Altroz facelift incorporates dual-cylinder CNG technology, which maximizes boot space. Conversely, the Baleno relies on a traditional factory-installed CNG kit with a single cylinder.

Moreover, the 2025 Altroz facelift is offered in five different variants. In addition to its new flush-type door handles, the Altroz facelift features newly designed alloy wheels, updated bumpers, and twin-pod LED headlights. Inside, the cabin is enhanced by a digital steering wheel that showcases an illuminated Tata logo, adding to the overall appeal of the vehicle.
