Skoda is preparing to roll out the facelifted Kushaq in India soon. In the build-up to the launch, the company has released a pair of teasers offering early glimpses of the SUV's refreshed look. The latest teaser highlights the front and rear lighting units, hinting at the sharper design direction of the updated model.
Beyond the cosmetic tweaks, the facelift is also expected to bring a handful of feature upgrades aimed at keeping the Kushaq competitive in its segment. With these changes, Skoda is positioning the refreshed Kushaq as a stronger contender in the midsize SUV market.
Updated Front
The upcoming 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift is set to bring a sharper and more premium look to the SUV. Up front, the model is expected to feature a revised grille with chrome detailing, redesigned bumpers, and a bolder stance inspired by the larger Kylaq SUV. Teasers also highlight a connected LED light bar across the front, paired with a full-width LED DRL and sleeker LED elements that give the Kushaq a more contemporary face. At the rear, illuminated Skoda lettering and a connected LED light bar further enhance its visual appeal, aligning the facelift with Skoda's latest global design language.

New Alloy Wheels
Test models of the Skoda Kushaq facelift sport new 17-inch matte black alloy wheels, adding to the refreshed look. While the overall silhouette stays familiar, it carries a sharper, more modern presence.

Interior Updates
Skoda has yet to officially reveal the interior of the upcoming Kushaq facelift, but reports indicate several upgrades aimed at keeping it competitive. Higher variants are expected to feature a panoramic sunroof, addressing a long-standing demand from buyers. The cabin is also expected to benefit from a digital instrument cluster and a larger infotainment touchscreen with updated graphics and interface. Skoda is reintroducing physical buttons for climate control, moving away from capacitive touch inputs. Premium leather and fabric upholstery, along with improved fit and finish, should enhance overall appeal, while essential functions like AC and traction control retain tactile controls.
Safety And Other Features
Among the most notable upgrades on the facelifted Skoda Kushaq is the introduction of a 360-degree camera system along with Level 2 ADAS features. Already boasting a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, these additions will further strengthen its position against rivals by enhancing both convenience and protection. Core safety equipment such as ABS with EBD, traction control, and six airbags will continue to be offered, ensuring that the Kushaq retains its strong foundation while adding modern driver-assistance technology.
Engine And Powertrain
Mechanically, the facelifted Skoda Kushaq is expected to stay largely unchanged from the current model, though a few tweaks are likely. The 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine should continue in its present form, but reports suggest it may now be paired exclusively with a DSG automatic gearbox, dropping the six-speed manual option. Additionally, variants equipped with the 1.5-litre TSI are expected to gain rear disc brakes, a move aimed at improving braking performance and overall handling dynamics.
