Skoda Kushaq Facelift Gets 7 Features As Standard, Making Base Variant Exciting

Skoda has officially unveiled the heavily updated Kushaq facelift. Ahead of its price announcement, the brand has opened pre-bookings across India. What truly stands out this time is Skoda's decision to load the base variant with seven key features that were previously available only in higher trims. With these additions, the entry-level Kushaq now becomes a far more compelling and value-driven choice for buyers. With the launch approaching, anticipation is growing around how the brand will price the updated SUV.

Seven New Standard Features Across The Line-Up

In a move clearly aimed at strengthening the SUV's value proposition, Skoda has introduced seven major features as standard on the base model of the Kushaq facelift. This dramatically enhances the appeal of the entry variant, positioning it more competitively against rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate.

1. Alloy Wheels

The base Kushaq now rides on stylish alloy wheels, replacing the steel rims previously offered. This instantly elevates the SUV's stance and visual appeal. While the lower trims get 16-inch rims, the higher variants will come with 17-inch alloy wheels.

2. Automatic Climate Control

Comfort takes a notable step up with fully automatic climate control now available even on the starting variant. With this, the occupants can set up their desired temperature setting without fiddling around with the buttons and knobs.

3. Auto-Dimming IRVM

Skoda has added an auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror, improving night-time visibility and reducing driver fatigue.

4. Rear Washer, Wiper & Defogger

A practical and much-needed combination, especially for monsoon driving, now comes standard. This feature greatly improves rear visibility. Also, this is a big safety feature that a lot of brands miss out on entry- and mid-level trims.

5. Rain-Sensing Wipers

Automatic wipers add convenience during unpredictable weather conditions, enhancing the SUV's premium quotient.

6. All-LED Headlamps & Tail-lamps

LED lighting significantly improves road illumination and gives the Kushaq a sharper, modern look. Moreover, there won't be much of a difference in terms of Kushaq's aesthetics in the dark, when compared with higher trims.

7. Electric Sunroof

Perhaps the biggest surprise - Skoda now offers an electric sunroof as standard, a feature highly popular among young buyers. The entry-level trim will get the smaller single-pane sunroof, while the top-end trims will come equipped with the larger dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
