Rolls-Royce, the ultra-luxury car maker, has taken the veil off the Phantom Centenary Collection. The limited edition model marks a hundred years of the Phantom nameplate, first launched in Phantom I in 1925. The company describes the Phantom Centenary Collection most intricate and technologically advanced Private Collection to date, with more than 40,000 hours dedicated to crafting the special edition.

The exterior of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Centenary Collection features a black-and-white colour combination inspired by Hollywood's classic era. Its custom two-tone finish adds a touch of elegance, while subtle golden accents stand out against the contrasting paint, giving the car a refined and distinctive look.

The grille draws inspiration from the original version of the iconic emblem. It's crafted in 18-carat gold and finished with a layer of 24-carat gold plating. Rolls-Royce adds that it carries a special 'Phantom Centenary' hallmark certified by the Hallmarking & Assay Office in London, while its base is treated with an enamel finish.

On the inside, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Centenary Collection retains the ultra-luxury design language as on the outside. Developed over a year, the process involved creating new inks, finishes, and methods, resulting in 45 unique panels that were carefully handcrafted and precisely fitted.

Rolls-Royce has crafted detailed woodwork for the Phantom Centenary Collection using stained Blackwood veneer. The door panels feature scenes from notable Phantom journeys, such as the 4,500-mile drive across Australia by the first Goodwood-era Phantom. The design blends techniques like 3D marquetry, ink layering, and gold leafing, with roads highlighted using ultra-thin 24-carat gold leaf.
