After much anticipation, MG has finally unveiled the Majestor in India. Scheduled for launch in April 2026, this SUV steps in as the brand's new flagship, taking over from the Gloster. Pre-bookings have already opened at a token amount of Rs 41,000, with customer deliveries set to commence from May 2026. The Majestor will be offered in two trims - Sharp and Savvy. The Sharp variant comes with a 4x2 drivetrain, while the Savvy is available in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations, catering to buyers who want more versatility.
MG Majestor: Engine Specs
Under the hood, the Majestor retains the Gloster's 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine but in a higher tune, producing 215 hp and 478 Nm. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and offered in both 4x2 and 4x4 layouts. The Gloster, meanwhile, also offers a lower-spec 2.0-litre turbo-diesel variant with 161 hp and 374 Nm.

The MG Majestor SUV will be available in two variants- Sharp and Savvy, and buyers will have four exterior shades to choose from: Pearl White, Concrete Grey, Metal Black, and Metal Ash.
