JSW MG Motor India has launched the Majestor SUV in the Indian market. However, the brand has first revealed the prices of the top trim of the SUV. Specifically, the 4x2 Automatic Top Trim has been introduced at a starting price of Rs 40.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and the 4x4 Automatic Top Trim, which comes at Rs 44.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The prices of the rest of the variants will likely be revealed later.
MG Majestor: Engine
The MG Majestor comes with a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine. This is the same unit that has been used for the higher-spec variants of the Gloster. The unit is tuned to push out 215 hp of power and 478.5 Nm. It comes paired with an 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox and offers a four-wheel-drive (4WD) setup with low range. With the three locking differentials, the SUV offers multiple driving modes, including Snow, Rock, Sand, Mud, and Normal.
MG Majestor: Cabin, Features
The MG Majestor features a black interior highlighted by silver accents. The dashboard is equipped with a 3-spoke steering wheel and two 12.3-inch displays, one dedicated to the infotainment system and the other for the instrument panel. This SUV comes in both 6- and 7-seat layouts, with leatherette upholstery provided as standard.

The top-tier Savvy trim of the SUV gets features such as a panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker JBL Studio audio system, a powered tailgate, 3-zone climate control, 360-degree camera, and dual wireless phone charging stations. Additionally, it features a 12-way power-adjustable driver's seat with a memory function linked to the outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), an 8-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, cooling and massage capabilities for the front seats, and 64-colour ambient lighting.

MG Majestor: Design
In terms of appearance, the SUV features a boxy design with an upright stance, complemented by a massive grille flanked by vertically stacked LED headlights on either side. The front fascia also has sleek eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs. The design of the bumper is also rugged with a silver skid plate.
The wheel arches are wrapped in cladding and extend along the lower part of the doors. The Majestor is equipped with 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and has side steps for easier access. At the back, it showcases connected LED tail lights with Morris Garages branding displayed above. Additionally, the rear bumper has black cladding and includes exhaust tips on either side, enhancing the SUV's aggressive appearance.
With its size, the SUV offers a ground clearance of 219 mm ground clearance and 810 mm water wading capacity. The wheelbase stands at 2,950 mm, the length at 5,046 mm, the width at 2,016 mm, and the height at 1,870 mm.
