Mahindra is preparing for the debut of the XUV 7XO on January 5, 2026. Although the launch date is still a few days away, the Indian automaker is trying to build hype about the upcoming SUV by releasing new teasers that reveal details about the vehicle every few days. In the series, the brand has released the latest teaser confirming some features of the model. Before we dive into details, it's important to note that the vehicle is already available for pre-booking.

The latest teaser shows multiple features the brand will offer with the Mahindra XUV 7XO. To begin with, the SUV gets a 540-degree camera, which is a step up considering the 360-degree camera that was offered on the XUV700. It is aimed at improving the visibility of the typical surround-view setups.

Mahindra has also revealed an in-car theater mode that allows rear passengers to use their own devices, all managed through the company's Adrenox+ software suite, which oversees infotainment, connectivity, and vehicle intelligence.

Besides that, the SUV has noticeable design revisions at both the front and rear. The lighting design appears fresh, taking inspiration from Mahindra's latest electric models, such as the XEV 9S. This can be seen in the form of redesigned LED daytime running lights, projector headlamps, and a distinctive rear design with inverted L-shaped elements connected by a full-width light bar. All of this will likely be complemented by new paint scheme options.

Additional highlights include new dual-tone alloy wheels, updated bumpers, fresh exterior color options, and a grille adorned with vertical chrome accents. The XUV 7XO branding is visible on both the bonnet and the tailgate.

For the first time in an internal combustion engine model, the XUV 7XO introduces Mahindra's triple-screen dashboard layout, complemented by a panoramic sunroof. Teasers reveal a new triple-tone dashboard design alongside a brown and tan steering wheel, improved upholstery, and revamped door trims.

The showcased version appears to be the fully equipped AX7L trim, which hints at features like Boss Mode seating, redesigned air vents, a new center console, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and upgraded material quality.

Mechanically, the Mahindra XUV 7XO will likely be the same as its predecessor, the outgoing XUV700. It will carry forward the 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual and an automatic transmission. The vehicle also gets an all-wheel-drive setup.
