Back in 2024, Formula 1 announced a new multi-year contract with Hot Wheels, The partnership kicked off with the release of a one-of-a-kind F1 car, before the full Hot Wheels range - featuring teams' cars and products to cater for both the sport's growing young audience and adult collectors. 

Hot Wheels, in collaboration with Mattel and Formula 1, has unveiled the 2026 F1 Concept Car, a collectible designed to capture the spirit of next-generation racing. Like its predecessor, the model features a diecast metal body, intricate detailing, and three interchangeable sets of Pirelli tires, allowing enthusiasts to customize its look. Styled to mirror the specifications of the upcoming Formula 1 season, the car blends motorsport-inspired engineering with Hot Wheels' signature craftsmanship. It offers fans a scaled-down yet authentic piece of racing culture, making it a standout addition to any collection. The new model will be available from February 10, 2026, reinforcing Hot Wheels' commitment to bringing motorsport realism into its premium lineup of collectibles.

Talking about the special highlight, the Hot Wheels 2026 F1 Concept Car features, black and neon shades all around the body, with subtle Hot Wheels flame cues integrated throughout the livery, on the engine cover, sidepods, and chassis. What makes it special is that it gets three sets of Pirelli tyres, marked red, yellow, and white like the real race-day slicks and one can store the ones that aren't in use on the included rack with an authentic F1 logo.

Most importantly, the toy car incorporates the design details aligned to the new 2026 F1 regulations, with shorter wheelbase and sleek shape of the 2026 regulations, while the number 68 celebrates the year Hot Wheels first hit the track.
