Hero MotoCorp has launched a new variant of the Xtreme 125R in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 1.04 lakh (ex-showroom). This iteration of the motorcycle comes with multiple changes in terms of aesthetics and features. Meanwhile, the mechanics of the motorcycle remain more or less the same.
While the design is the same as the other variants, the brand has expanded the paint scheme options available with the motorcycle. The newly introduced options include: Black Pearl Red, Black Matshdow Grey, and Black Leaf Green. All of these colours get fresh graphics as well to improve the aesthetic appeal of the motorcycle.

This version of the Xtreme 125R now includes a ride-by-wire throttle, enabling features such as cruise control and multiple riding modes (Power, Road, and Eco), which can be accessed via the same segmented color LCD as found on the Glamour X. Additionally, it is the first motorcycle in its segment to offer dual discs with dual-channel ABS.
Powering the Xtreme 125R is a 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivers 11.5 hp and 10.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The Xtreme 125R is positioned as Hero's sporty commuter bike and competes with models like the TVS Raider, Honda CB125 Hornet, and Bajaj Pulsar N125.
With a price tag of Rs 1.04 lakh, the Xtreme 125R is at the top of the Xtreme lineup and is Rs 9,000 more expensive than the top-spec Raider, which features a TFT display but lacks dual-channel ABS and ride-by-wire technology.
