Recently, Hero MotoCorp laid down its plan to introduce its new electric scooters in India. The brand revealed that it will launch two new electric scooters on 1st July. The brand also claimed that the upcoming scooters will be a part of the Vida portfolio. However, Hero has already started stocking the dealerships with its new electric scooter. The Hero Vida VX2 has now been snapped at a showroom, and it is the first time that it has been seen undisguised.

The exact details about the battery pack have not been revealed yet. However, it is likely to be equipped with a battery pack ranging from 2.2 kWh to 3.9 kWh. It is also expected that the soon-to-be-launched Hero Vida VX2 will deliver 165 km of range.

While the new Hero electric scooter is part of the Vida portfolio, it carries a few features that distinguish it from the other electric two-wheelers in the lineup. The Vida VX2 gets a keyhole, while the Vida V2 has smart key access. Also, the TFT screen appears to be quite smaller than the V2 electric two-wheelers.

Hero has equipped a single-piece set, benching the split seat offered in the V2s. If we look at the overall design of the Vida VX2, it is observed to carry a simpler and cleaner design. The Vida VX2 will get front disc brakes, a telescopic fork, and dual rear shock absorbers.
The design, the features, and Hero's plans suggest that the Vida VX2 will be placed in a more affordable price bracket. While the prices of the VX2 will officially be announced on 1st July, it might be expected to be slotted at a starting price of Rs 65,000.
