Tata Motors is revealing the details of the 2026 Tata Tiago facelift bit-by-bit. The manufacturer has already revealed the design and interiors of the hatchback and is now stepping into the details. In the latest video, the automaker has confirmed that the CNG version of the car will be available with segment-first paddle shifters for the AMT. The revelation comes close to the launch of the car in the Indian market on May 28.
The remaining specifications will likely mirror those of the petrol variant of the SUV and are anticipated to retain the twin-cylinder configuration for gas storage. Furthermore, the hatchback is projected to keep the 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, generating 75 hp with CNG. This setup is mated to a five-speed AMT. Additionally, the vehicle is expected to maintain the direct start-in-CNG feature.

Similar to the petrol version, the Tiago CNG features two separate screens: one for the touchscreen and another for the driver's display. The central monitor is believed to be the same 10.25-inch unit; however, the previous LCD driver's display has been upgraded to a digital version for a more contemporary look.

While most changes pertain to softer elements, they provide the hatchback with a more up-to-date appearance overall. The refreshed Tiago features new bumpers, reimagined LED headlamps and tail-lamps linked by contrasting accents, along with a new alloy wheel design.
With all of the aforementioned changes, the prices of the Tata Tiago will likely see an increase. Once launched, the Tata Tiago will compete against rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS.
