A Facebook user from Australia recently uploaded either the most creepy or the coolest video, depending on how you take it. With over 20 million views and counting, it shows a giant Huntsman spider dragging around his dinner, a mouse. Ugh!
In a post shared on October 22, Jason Womal explains how he was about to leave for work when his neighbor asked him: "You want to see something cool?"
"Hell yeah," said Mr Womal. He not only saw, but promptly recorded the scene and posted it on Facebook to share with the world.
Not how we would define the word 'cool', but okay.
In addition to the 20 million views, the video has also received 2.8 lakh shares and more than 48,000 reactions.
As for the spider, it has now been named Hermie and runs his own 'extermination business'.
So all's well in the world, except perhaps the poor mouse that became a spider's dinner. And all those people who will now identify themselves as arachnophobes, thanks to this video.
