Mumbai:  Actress Jiah Khan's friend Suraj Pancholi has been questioned by police for three hours about the starlet's apparent suicide. Jiah, 25, reportedly hanged herself at her Juhu residence between 11 and 11.30 pm on June 3. Suraj, who is the son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, was the last person Jiah spoke to on the phone. Suraj's father accompanied him to the Juhu police station.

Her last film was Sajid Khan's Housefull in 2010 with Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Riteish Deshmukh and Lara Dutta. She had a two-film deal with UTV Motion Pictures and a three-film deal with Ghajini producer Madhu Mantena.
