'Enforce burqa or face consequences'
Sopore:

Militants in Kashmir have threatened a college principal with dire consequences if he failed to ensure that all female students wore burqa.

Mohammad Ashraf Peer was beaten up by unidentified gunmen and his car was set on fire. The principal says he was made to call other heads of educational institutions in Sopore to ensure all their female students wear burqa or face dire consequences.

Police are investigating the case to ascertain who the culprits behind this threat are. However, no group has claimed the responsibility yet.
