Mumbai: Teacher taught kids how to French kiss, allege parents

Mumbai: Fifteen out of the 50 children enrolled at Eurokids nursery school, Yari Road, have been withdrawn from the school. Their parents have demanded that Sana Saiyani, a teacher who allegedly molested the tiny tots on October 22, should be blacklisted and the school should refund their fees.

The parents have termed a 60-day probe launched by the school as "misleading". The teachers have blocked the parents from their Facebook accounts. Earlier, the parents had received a circular stating that the school had fired Saiyani for molesting the children and teaching them how to French kiss.

But, in a meeting with parents on October 27, the school backtracked and asked for 60 days to take a call on the teacher.

The parents are upset as they feel the duration of the probe is too long, delaying action against the teacher. "The school is just buying time. We expected immediate action. One of the parents even suggested that the school provide a psychiatrist known to the parents. School authorities said they had short listed someone but refused to disclose the name of the doctors," said a parent.

A concerned mother said, "We want immediate results, not a lengthy procedure that will put our children through trauma. I have withdrawn my child because the school head has refused to lodge a police complaint against the teacher."

Parents claimed that some teachers, too, are leaving the school. The head of Euro Kids Farzeen Hooda, was not available for comment.
