The Simpsons' selfie reveals the unseen story behind Ellen's. It's not pretty
New Delhi: There is an 'ugly true story' behind the Oscars' most epic moment and if hadn't been for The Simpsons we'd never have known. We'd never have known that there were meant to have been 14 faces, not 12, in the Twitter-breaking celeb-selfie that Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres spontaneously took and posted online. We'd never have known how the two faces that didn't end up in the most re-tweeted photo in the world were edged out by three nasty and famous photohogs.

The Simpson's behind-the-scenes version of the picture reveals just how evil Hollywood celebrities can be in their ruthless determination to grab screen space.

It shows how Bradley Cooper's camera-ready smile really got to the front of the selfie - by trampling on and kicking a hapless Homer Simpson out of the way. "If only Bradley's arm was longer," said Ellen in her original tweet. His leg was long enough apparently. Bradley, not cool.

Behind Bradley, mild-mannered Meryl Streep and genial Ellen herself made sure that all we got to see of Bart Simpson was his spiky hair and fingers raised in a V-sign. That's mean, Meryl. And Ellen, insecure much?

It's a jungle out there.

The Simpsons' full disclosure said this: The ugly true story of that Oscars' selfie can finally be told! Let's break Twitter again. Look for Bart

It also forced another celebrity to come clean about his part in the selfie. Kevin Spacey confessed on Twitter: U think @HomerJSimpson had it bad? I was standing on @JohnStamos head!

We're just shocked.

Here's the original selfie, we can bet you won't look at Bradley the same way again:
