CBSE class 10 results declared

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of Class 10 this morning, with 98.76 percent students clearing the exams.

This is marginally up from 98.19 percent in 2012.

The performance of girls is marginally better than boys -- a pass percentage of 98.94 percent for girls as compared to 98.64 percent for boys.

The overall pass percentage in Chennai region is 99.80, the highest as compared to other regions.

Students and schools can check their results online on www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in, and www.cbse.nic.in

The results will also be available through interactive voice response system (IVRS) at a charge of 30 paise per minute. The numbers will be available on CBSE website.

There is also a facility of checking results through SMS service, details of which are on the website.
